Children’s Program: K-6th

While the adults experience the worship and the teachings of Rev. Canon Dr. Mark A. Pearson, children in grades K-6 can come to our children’s program!
We will be focusing on John 11:1-44, when Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead.  The children will learn about the power of Christ and to pray expectantly. Some of the ways we will experience this are through scripture, crafts, and games.
Please let us know of any food allergies.

He and his wife, Dr. Mary Grace Pearson, have developed a whole-person healing center called New Creation Healing Center.  It combines medicine, Christian counseling, and prayer to minister to people in body, soul, and spirit.   Visit them at www.newcreationhc.org.

Mark brings an impressive array of academic credentials and broad-based experience to his role as President of Institute for Christian Renewal and as a leader of teaching and healing conferences around the world.  A Phi Beta Kappa graduate with honors in History of Williams College, Canon Pearson studied theology at Oxford University, receiving a Masters degree with Honours in 1973. He was ordained in 1974.  In 1980, he co-founded Institute for Christian Renewal as a vehicle to help bring a balanced spiritual renewal to churches and individuals.  Visit the Institute at www.christian renewal.wordpress.com.  He received his doctorate from Boston University in May, 1999, in the area of Christian healing ministry.  In 2002 the World Council of Churches invited Canon Mark to be one of 26 international participants in a Consultation on the Ministry of Healing held in Ghana.  He also participated in the second Consultation, held in Chile in late 2003.
